  • 1 tbsp Oil or Ghee

  • 1 Bay Leaf

  • 4–5 Black Peppercorns

  • ½ inch Cinnamon Stick

  • 2 Cloves

  • ½ tsp Cumin Seeds

  • ½ tsp Turmeric Powder

  • 1 tsp Coriander Powder

  • 1 tsp Garam Masala

  • Salt to taste

3. Mix in the Rice:

Add the soaked and drained rice. Gently toss to coat the grains with the masala. Sauté for a minute to enhance aroma.
